About the Position
We’re looking for a creative Marketing Content Writer who knows how to produce high-converting content for professional B2B audiences. The primary focus of this role is writing for marketers, which requires a sharp eye for detail, a strong creative instinct, and a solid understanding of marketing terminology and processes.
You’ll work across multiple formats (whitepapers, blog posts, landing pages, ad copy, and email campaigns), creating content that is not only well-written but strategically designed to educate, persuade, and convert.
About the Clients
You’ll be creating content for several clients, but the main project for the first year is for a Customer Advocacy Intelligence platform that helps brands acquire, nurture, and motivate fans to promote their brand through word-of-mouth, reviews, social sharing, and referrals. Your audience includes CMOs, Heads of Marketing, Demand Gen leaders, Growth marketers, and Community & Advocacy managers at B2B and B2C brands. This is marketing for marketers, which means your audience is sharp, skeptical, and busy. Your job is to educate, inspire, and influence them with content that is insightful, credible, and creatively differentiated.
Responsibilities:
- Deeply understand the client’s product, positioning, and value proposition, and translate it into clear, persuasive messaging for marketing audiences
- Write high-quality, engaging content across formats: whitepapers, blog posts, landing pages, case studies, email sequences, and ad copies
- Develop content that speaks the language of marketers, using correct terminology, frameworks, and real-world use cases
- Proactively suggest content ideas aligned with marketing trends, campaign goals, and the evolving Martech landscape
- Research target audiences, competitors, and industry narratives to create differentiated, insight-driven content
- Collaborate with marketers, designers, and other teams to ensure consistent messaging across channels
- Optimize content for SEO and AEO (AI Engine Optimization) without sacrificing clarity or creativity
- Manage multiple content streams, deadlines, and feedback cycles in a fast-paced agency environment
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Marketing Content Writer or Copywriter in B2B SaaS, Martech, Adtech, or related fields
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Curiosity about modern marketing, and a basic understanding of marketing concepts, processes, and terminology
- Understanding of the structures, techniques, and other strategic elements behind high-converting B2B content
- Exceptional linguistic sense with a strong feel for rhythm, nuance, and word choice; ability to find exactly the right words and craft beautiful, creative, and engaging marketing content
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment
- Degree in journalism, English, linguistics, communications, or related discipline
- Ability to balance creative thinking with business objectives and measurable outcomes
Portfolio: Please include 3+ samples that demonstrate your ability to create compelling marketing content for professional audiences. We’re especially interested in blog posts, landing pages for B2B audiences, and AdTech/MarTech content samples.
