Editorial Policy

Effective date: 05.05.2026

This Editorial Policy explains how 42DM creates, reviews, updates, and publishes content on our website and related channels. It applies to blog posts, guides, articles, landing pages, research summaries, and other editorial materials published by 42DM.

Purpose and scope

42DM publishes content to share insights on B2B marketing, GTM strategy, content marketing, digital growth, and related business topics. Our goal is to provide useful, accurate, and practical information for marketing and business professionals. This policy describes our editorial standards and review process for content published by 42DM.

How we choose topics

We approve topics based on a combination of business relevance, audience value, search intent, topical expertise, and strategic importance to our services. Topic ideas may come from client questions, sales and delivery teams, market trends, internal subject-matter expertise, product and service developments, and content performance data.

Before a topic is approved, we assess whether it:

  • Is relevant to our audience.
  • Supports our expertise in B2B marketing and GTM.
  • Can be covered with accuracy and sufficient depth.
  • Adds original value beyond what is already widely available.
  • Aligns with our brand, positioning, and commercial priorities.

We do not publish content simply because it is trending. We aim to publish content that is credible, useful, and aligned with our audience’s needs.

Research and fact-checking

We base our content on credible sources, including primary sources where possible, such as official reports, company documentation, academic research, regulatory sources, and direct statements from relevant organizations. When we use statistics, quotes, benchmarks, or factual claims, we verify them against multiple reliable sources whenever possible.

Our internal fact-checking process may include:

  • Checking the original source of every material claim.
  • Confirming dates, names, titles, company references, and numerical data.
  • Reviewing statistics for context and relevance.
  • Verifying that quotes are accurate and properly attributed.
  • Ensuring any interpretation of data is reasonable and not misleading.

When a claim cannot be verified, we either remove it, rephrase it cautiously, or clearly label it as an estimate, opinion, or illustrative example.

Use of sources

We link to sources of statistics, studies, and other factual references whenever practical. We aim to give readers a clear path back to the original or most authoritative source. If a source is behind a paywall, inaccessible, or unavailable for direct linking, we will still cite it as clearly as possible in the content.

We expect our content to distinguish clearly between facts, analysis, and opinion. When we use secondary sources, we do our best to trace the information back to the original source before publication.

Plagiarism, AI, and readability

We do not knowingly publish plagiarized content. All content must be original, properly attributed, and written in 42DM’s voice or approved contributor voice.

We may use AI tools to support ideation, outlining, summarization, editing, or quality checks, but AI-generated text is never published without human review and approval. We also review content for accuracy, originality, tone, and readability before publication. Our readability review may include:

  • Simplifying overly complex language.
  • Removing jargon where it is not necessary.
  • Improving structure, headings, and scanability.
  • Checking grammar, spelling, and consistency.
  • Ensuring the content is understandable for the intended audience.

Editorial review and approval

Content is reviewed internally before publication. Depending on the topic and complexity, review may involve one or more of the following:

  • The writer or content strategist.
  • A subject-matter expert.
  • A senior marketer or editor.
  • A technical or account stakeholder where relevant.

The reviewer checks that the content is accurate, aligned with our positioning, and suitable for publication. Final approval is required before content goes live.

Updates and corrections

We review and update content when information changes, when a page becomes outdated, or when we identify errors. If we become aware of an incorrect statement, we will correct or update the content as soon as reasonably practicable.

If you find an error in our content, please contact us at [email protected]. We appreciate corrections and may update content, add clarification, or revise citations as needed.

Advisory content and limitations

Some 42DM content includes GTM, marketing, positioning, or growth recommendations. These materials are provided for informational purposes and reflect our professional judgment based on the information available at the time of publication.

We do not guarantee specific business, revenue, pipeline, ranking, or performance outcomes from implementing our advice. Results may vary depending on strategy, execution, market conditions, data quality, timing, budget, product-market fit, and third-party tools or partners. If a client or reader applies advice without our direct involvement, oversight, or implementation support, 42DM is not responsible for outcomes resulting from that independent execution.

Independence and disclosures

We aim to keep editorial judgment separate from commercial interests. If a piece of content is sponsored, promotional, or created in partnership with another party, we will make that relationship clear to readers where appropriate.

We do not allow undisclosed compensation or external influence to override our editorial standards.
