The 2027 marketing conference calendar reflects major shifts in how B2B tech companies approach growth. A typical B2B company budget covers two or three events at best, so picking well matters: the right ones send you home with a sharper plan, relationships that turn into pipeline, and ideas your team can put to work the following Monday.
We’ve reviewed hundreds of events to find the 45+ that deliver real value for CMOs and marketing leaders at tech companies, and grouped them by the problem they help you solve. Whether you’re building ABM programs, fixing demand generation, or integrating AI into your marketing operations, you’ll see when each event runs, what last year’s edition focused on, and who gets the most out of it. Dates do shift, so plan with ours and confirm on the official site before you book.
Disclosure:
42DM is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or paid by any of the conferences listed above. We do not receive commissions for registrations or “kickbacks” for mentions. This guide is created solely for the benefit of our readers and the B2B tech community. Our recommendations are based strictly on industry research, event reputation, and our own professional experience attending these summits.
Why Marketing Conferences Matter More for B2B Tech Now
The way B2B buyers make decisions has changed faster than most marketing plans. That’s exactly why the right room matters more than it used to: it’s where you see what’s working for your peers before it shows up in your own numbers.
Buyers decide before they talk to you. B2B buyers now compare vendors inside ChatGPT, Perplexity, and AI Overviews long before they book a call, so your pipeline can quietly thin out while traffic reports still look fine. The best sessions no longer ask how to rank; they ask whether AI understands, trusts, and recommends you. The good news is that this is fixable. In a six-month AEO engagement, we moved a B2B client from #6 to a consistent top-three ChatGPT recommendation, with citations up 220% and AI-referred traffic up 185%. We walk through exactly what moved the needle with Gumshoe AI in AEO Cases Reverse-Engineered: How Top B2B Brands Get Cited by AI.
Generic content no longer earns attention. When anyone can generate a competent summary in seconds, a feed full of best practices gets scrolled past by buyers and ignored by AI. What still cuts through is proprietary data, customer proof, and first-hand experience. You’ll feel it at every good conference: speakers who share real numbers fill the room, and you leave with evidence you can bring back to your own board.
The right playbook depends on your stage. It’s easy to copy what a category leader does and quietly burn a quarter of budget on channels that can’t pay back yet. When we audited 100 B2B AI companies against 40+ GTM signals, younger companies grew with customer proof, founder visibility, and paid distribution, while search authority and organic traffic paid off only later. Our GTM Benchmark Report breaks it down by stage and sales motion, so you can choose the conference tracks that match where you are now, not where you hope to be in three years.
And as AI filters more of the digital noise, the conversations that happen face-to-face are getting harder to replace. We dig into why in our piece on B2B event marketing in the AI era.

The Best B2B Marketing Conferences, by What You Need to Solve
Pick by problem, not by hype. Each entry shows the last edition and what it focused on, the next edition, and who it suits.
Strategy and Leadership Conferences for CMOs
HubSpot UNBOUND (formerly INBOUND)
Last edition: September 16–18, 2026, Boston. The first year under the UNBOUND name. AEO, owned-earned-paid distribution, and AI agents in GTM workflows dominated, and HubSpot CMO Kipp Bodnar showed HubSpot’s own traffic falling while leads grew.
Next edition: September 8–10, 2027, Boston (per event listings; HubSpot’s 2027 presale list is open).
HubSpot’s flagship event dropped the INBOUND name after 15 years because growth no longer lives in one marketing methodology. It now spans marketing, sales, service, RevOps, and AI, and the agenda reflects it: AEO, owned-earned-paid distribution, AI agents in GTM workflows, and how visibility connects to pipeline. You don’t need to run HubSpot to get value, though if you do, the roadmap sessions alone justify the trip.
Best for: B2B marketing managers and directors, RevOps and marketing ops, HubSpot users, CMOs who want a broad GTM reset in one place.
42DM take: Kate Vasylenko, our CEO, has attended every edition since 2023. The audience shift tells the story: sales, CS, and RevOps now fill the same sessions as marketers. Go with one specific question and build your agenda around it. For the full history, whether it’s worth the ticket, and year-by-year takeaways, see our HubSpot UNBOUND conference hub. For what the latest edition actually agreed on about AEO, traffic, and trust, read Kate’s UNBOUND 2026 recap.
Already running HubSpot? Our HubSpot team can help you turn the roadmap sessions into workflows you actually ship.
Forrester B2B Summit North America
Last edition: April 26–29, 2026, Phoenix (in-person and online). Theme: the “GTM Singularity,” built on research showing most buying decisions form before sellers engage.
Next edition: May 3–5, 2027, Phoenix (confirmed on Forrester’s event pages; some listings show May 2–4).
Research-led and refreshingly vendor-light. Forrester analysts bring frameworks enterprises actually use, plus benchmarks to see how you compare with peers, and one-on-one analyst sessions for specific problems. Recent editions focused on buyers using generative AI before sellers ever enter the conversation, and on treating brand and demand as one growth system rather than two budget lines.
Best for: CMOs planning annual strategy, VPs of demand gen, leaders at $50M+ companies who need data to defend big bets.
If you’re preparing: bring your own numbers. Our GTM Benchmark Report shows which of 40+ GTM signals move with revenue by company stage and sales motion, which makes analyst conversations far more specific.
ANA Masters of B2B Marketing
Last edition: June 3–5, 2026, Chicago (Marriott Magnificent Mile). It anchored the first ANA B2B Masters Week, including a B2B Masters Academy curated by PwC and Google for client-side members.
Next edition: Starts May 24, 2027, Chicago (per ANA’s conference calendar).
Client-side marketers only, so no agencies or vendors pitching in sessions. Content is senior and effectiveness-focused: long cycles, buying committees, proving revenue impact, and building brands that command premium pricing. Recent editions put trust and brand closer to the center of B2B growth as buyers do more independent research with AI.
Best for: CMOs and senior marketing executives at B2B brands with large budgets.
World Business Forum
Last edition: November 5–6, 2025, Javits Center, New York.
Next edition: November 4–5, 2026, Javits Center, New York (confirmed). The pass includes on-demand access to WOBI’s other forums worldwide.
Not a marketing event, and that’s the point. Leadership, transformation, and strategic thinking from business leaders outside your usual feed.
Best for: CMOs moving into broader business leadership, and senior teams planning the year ahead.
CMO Summit (CMO Alliance)
Last editions: Boston, August 20, 2026 (The Westin Copley Place); San Francisco, September 9, 2026 (Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport), co-located with the AI for Marketers, Developer Marketing, and Product Marketing summits.
Next editions (all confirmed on CMO Alliance’s calendar):
- Sydney, October 28, 2026
- Chicago, November 17, 2026, Embassy Suites by Hilton Chicago Downtown
- London, December 1, 2026, InterContinental London – The O2
- New York, March 10, 2027, Convene 360 Madison Avenue
- San Jose (Silicon Valley), April 14, 2027, DoubleTree by Hilton
- Amsterdam, May 25, 2027, Postillion Hotel & Convention Centre
- London, June 24, 2027 (the event page also shows June 25)
- Austin, June 24, 2027
- San Francisco, September 8, 2027
A one-day, invite-only room of 75–100 CMOs and VPs of marketing per city, with passes complimentary for those who qualify: C-suite and VP-level marketers at companies with 200+ employees and/or $50M+ revenue. Agendas center on proving marketing’s revenue impact to the board, rebuilding teams around AI, rising acquisition costs, and the brand vs. performance debate. Several editions run alongside CRO, CFO, and Chief Customer Officer summits, so you can bring your C-suite peers.
Best for: CMOs and VPs of marketing who want candid peer conversations rather than a trade show.
Chief Growth Officer Summit (CMO Alliance)
Last edition: April 15, 2026, DoubleTree by Hilton, San Jose.
Next edition: April 15, 2027, DoubleTree by Hilton, San Jose (confirmed), the day after CMO Summit San Jose, so one trip covers both.
Built around the end of “growth at all costs”: durable, profitable growth, net revenue retention as the real growth engine, aligning growth levers across sales, marketing, product, and CS, and using AI and predictive analytics to catch customer signals early.
Best for: Chief Growth Officers and VPs of growth at larger companies (roughly 200+ employees or $50M+ revenue), the same senior audience Forrester serves.
Demand Generation, ABM, and Lead Gen Conferences
B2B Marketing Exchange (B2BMX) West
Last edition: March 9–11, 2026, Carlsbad, CA. Theme “Building Bridges, Breaking Barriers,” with keynotes from analyst Benedict Evans and OpenAI’s Dane Vahey.
Next edition: February 22–24, 2027, Omni La Costa Resort, Carlsbad (per event listings), about two weeks earlier than 2026.
Practitioners teaching practitioners. Expect tactical sessions on ABM in a privacy-first world, demand gen beyond MQLs, sales-marketing alignment, and AI tools that actually pay back. It has grown to roughly 1,000 senior B2B marketers in recent editions, but the format still favors real conversations over expo-hall noise. The hotel block tends to sell out early.
Best for: Demand gen managers, ABM leads, marketing directors at B2B tech companies.
LeadsCon
Last edition: April 22–24, 2026, MGM Grand, Las Vegas.
Next edition: April 5–7, 2027, MGM Grand, Las Vegas (confirmed on leadscon.com). The organizer bills it at roughly 3,000 lead gen professionals.
Everything about generating and converting qualified leads: lead quality vs. volume, attribution, compliance, and nurture. Recent editions pushed lead gen beyond search and form fills into AI-assistant visibility and partner quality.
Best for: Demand gen and performance marketers, especially in insurance, financial services, and B2B services.
Worth watching before you go: most B2B teams lose the majority of hand-raisers between form and meeting. In From Traffic to Pipeline: GTM Lessons from 100 Top AI Products, Chili Piper shares form-to-meeting benchmarks from 4M+ submissions on recovering the 98% who leave, alongside our data on which traffic signals actually turn into pipeline.
B2B Online
Last edition: May 4–6, 2026, Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile, with roughly 900 manufacturing and distribution leaders. Sessions centered on self-service portals and connecting ERP, PIM, and commerce systems.
Next edition: 2027 dates not yet announced (the Chicago edition has run in early May).
Digital transformation for traditional B2B: e-commerce, digital CX, and sales-marketing tech alignment. Recent editions got operational, asking whether companies have the product data and self-service content that increasingly independent buyers expect.
Best for: CMOs and marketing leaders in manufacturing, distribution, and B2B services building digital-first motions.
B2B Marketing Expo
Last edition: 2025, London (the event has run annually since 2016).
Next edition: November 18–19, 2026, ExCeL London, now branded B2B Marketing Live and co-located with Sales Innovation Expo. Organizers expect 4,000+ marketers and 150+ speakers.
A conference plus 100+ exhibitor expo focused purely on B2B: modern buying processes, B2B MarTech, and strategy tracks.
Best for: B2B marketing teams in the UK and Europe, and marketers moving from B2C to B2B.
AI in Marketing Conferences
MAICON (Marketing AI Conference)
Last edition: October 13–15, 2026, Huntington Convention Center, Cleveland. Main-stage themes: rethinking work around AI agents, CEO-led AI transformation, MCP and agent building blocks for marketers, and measuring ROI in the AI search era (a Google session). Featured recordings are sold on demand.
Next edition: 2027 dates not yet announced (it has run in mid-October in Cleveland).
Run by the Marketing AI Institute, which was researching this long before it was fashionable. Small enough for real discussion, focused on AI strategy, AI-powered marketing operations, vendor evaluation, and change management.
Best for: Marketing ops leaders, CMOs rolling out AI, and skeptics who want substance over hype.
ANA AI and Technology for Marketers
Last edition: September 23–25, 2026, MGM National Harbor, Oxon Hill, MD (presented by Meta). Focus: AI adoption with accountability, governing AI-driven marketing systems, and how roles change in AI-enabled teams.
Next edition: Starts October 6, 2027, Los Angeles (per ANA’s conference calendar).
Practical AI implementation from the client side: which tools work, how to build AI workflows, predictive analytics, personalization, ethics, and building AI-literate teams.
Best for: CMOs implementing AI strategy, marketing ops, performance and content teams.
Chatbot Summit Berlin
Last edition: Spring 2026, Ritz-Carlton Berlin.
Next edition: April 7–8, 2027, Ritz-Carlton Berlin (per event listings; not yet confirmed on the official site).
The conversation has moved from chatbots to enterprise AI agents: agentic commerce, voice, governance, and reliable deployment across the customer journey.
Best for: Marketing ops, CX leaders, teams deploying AI sales or service assistants.
A question every AI-focused session circles back to: do AI engines actually recommend your product? Our AI Visibility Report benchmarks 10 AI agent platforms across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude. One finding: the brands with the most mentions weren’t the ones AI trusted enough to cite, and structured, crawlable content drove more AI-referred traffic than raw brand awareness.
AI for Product Marketing Festival and co-located AI GTM festivals (San Francisco)
Last edition: January 2026, San Francisco.
Next edition: January 20–21, 2027, San Francisco (confirmed by The Alliance). AI for Customer Success Festival runs January 20; AI for Product Marketing and AI for Sales Enablement run January 21, and one pass opens the co-located RevOps, product-led, and customer success tracks.
A hands-on, single-day format rather than a lecture series. The published product marketing agenda covers the AI-first PMM function, what synthetic customer research is good for and where it misleads, and a 60-minute hackathon where attendees build their own agent. It’s the closest thing on this list to a working session on how AI is changing positioning and GTM execution.
Best for: PMM, GTM, and RevOps leaders at AI-native and B2B SaaS companies. The January timing makes it a useful planning reset.
AI for Marketers Summit (CMO Alliance)
Last edition: September 9–10, 2026, Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport, with 150+ senior marketers and leaders from Apple, IBM, and Atlassian on the program.
Next edition: 2027 dates not yet announced (it has run alongside CMO Summit San Francisco, which returns September 8, 2027).
Built around a blunt premise: adopting AI is easy, rebuilding marketing around it is hard. Sessions skip the hype for live AI workflow builds on stage and candid stories from teams mid-rebuild about what broke and what worked. One pass covers the co-located Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Developer Marketing summits.
Best for: Marketing leaders past the pilot phase who need to restructure workflows, roles, and budgets around AI.
SEO, AEO, and Content Marketing Conferences
brightonSEO (UK and USA editions)
Last edition: UK, October 8–9, 2026, Brighton Centre; US, September 15–16, 2026, San Diego (with Hero Conf for PPC). The UK edition now runs in both spring and autumn.
Next edition: San Diego, September 9–10, 2027 (confirmed, tickets on sale). Spring 2027 UK dates not yet announced.
The SEO community’s home base, with a mix of beginner and advanced tracks and a free ticket option. Recent editions leaned heavily into AEO and GEO, but the honest message was evolutionary, not revolutionary: technical SEO still matters, while brand signals, digital PR, and third-party proof increasingly shape AI-mediated discovery. The US edition skews toward SaaS and enterprise software.
Best for: SEO and content leads, technical marketers, small teams where one person owns organic.
MozCon London
Last edition: MozCon NYC, July 14, 2026, the first stop of Moz’s new one-day roadshow format.
Next edition: November 13, 2026, Convene 22 Bishopsgate, London (confirmed), with speakers including Moz’s Tom Capper and Crystal Carter.
Moz’s community event, now centered on how AI search changes the fundamentals across Google, Bing, and answer engines.
Best for: SEO professionals and content strategists.
Before you sit through another AEO panel: most of them recycle theory. In AEO Cases Reverse-Engineered, we and Gumshoe AI show the evidence instead, including why strong Google SEO doesn’t reliably predict AI citations, why the same brand performs differently by buyer persona, and how to measure AI visibility beyond mentions.
Want to know where you stand before you go? Get a free AI search visibility audit and see where your brand shows up, or doesn’t, in the AI answers your buyers read.
Content Marketing World
Last edition: October 5–7, 2026, Colorado Convention Center, Denver, the event’s first year in Denver.
Next edition: 2027 dates not yet announced.
The event that helped turn content marketing into a discipline. Sessions cover content aligned with sales, responsible AI use, measuring content’s pipeline impact, building content teams, and distribution beyond “post and hope.”
Best for: Content leads and strategists, CMOs whose pipeline depends on content.
DigiMarCon series (Washington DC, Canada West, Silicon Valley, UK)
Last editions: Canada West, April 20–21, 2026 (Vancouver); Silicon Valley, June 16–17, 2026 (Grand Hyatt San Francisco); UK, September 3–4, 2026 (London).
Next editions: Canada West, May 3–4, 2027 (Paradox Hotel Vancouver); UK, September 2–3, 2027 (London); Washington DC (now DigiMarCon America), October 2027, with exact dates varying across listings; Silicon Valley 2027 not yet dated.
Tactical digital marketing across SEO, content, social, email, and CRO, with workshops and case studies. Recent editions emphasized documenting real expertise and turning day-to-day work into evidence-rich content instead of competing with generic AI output. Regional editions add local context: post-Brexit and UK data rules in London, lean-team tactics in Canada, early trend-spotting in Silicon Valley.
Best for: Digital marketing managers and smaller teams looking for practical efficiency gains.
MarTech and Enterprise Platform Conferences
Adobe Summit
Last edition: April 2026, Las Vegas. The headline was Adobe CX Enterprise, an agentic system for orchestrating the full customer lifecycle.
Next edition: March 22–25, 2027, The Venetian, Las Vegas (confirmed by Adobe), about a month earlier than 2026, with a free online broadcast.
Where enterprise marketing tech heads next: AI-driven content, CDPs in practice, cross-channel orchestration, and attribution. Recent editions centered on agentic AI orchestrating the full customer lifecycle, the clearest signal yet that the experimentation era is over. If your stack touches Adobe, the on-demand keynotes are worth your time even if you skip the trip.
Best for: Enterprise marketing leaders, marketing ops at scale-ups preparing for enterprise, MarTech architects.
MarTech Summit Berlin
Last edition: March 5, 2026, JW Marriott Berlin, co-located with the Data Demystified Summit, with an audience roughly 85% leadership level.
Next edition: February 25, 2027, Berlin (per event listings).
One focused day on implementation, not demos: AI-driven decisioning, connected MarTech ecosystems, privacy-respecting data, and brand visibility in zero-click environments.
Best for: Marketing ops managers and CMOs evaluating stack investments.
TECHSPO LA
Last edition: April 1–2, 2026, Loews Hollywood Hotel, co-located with DigiMarCon West.
Next edition: April 7–8, 2027, Loews Hollywood Hotel (per TECHSPO listings).
An expo-style look at 200+ companies building the next wave of marketing and business tech, with AI increasingly embedded in everyday tools.
Best for: MarTech managers and teams scouting tools before they go mainstream.
InfoComm
Last edition: June 13–19, 2026, Las Vegas Convention Center (exhibits June 17–19). The show alternates between Las Vegas and Orlando.
Next edition: June 12–18, 2027, Orange County Convention Center, Orlando (confirmed by AVIXA), co-located with the new RESIDE and Lightapalooza shows.
The pro AV show: AI-assisted production, streaming, hybrid event tech, and collaboration tools.
Best for: Video, content, and event marketing teams, and ops leaders who own AV.
MarTech Summit Boston (CMO Alliance)
A different event and organizer from MarTech Summit Berlin above.
Last edition: October 29, 2025, Boston, when it ran as the Marketing Operations Summit.
Next edition: October 27, 2026, The Westin Boston Seaport (confirmed). One pass covers the co-located Product Marketing, RevOps, Customer Success, Sales Enablement, and Product-Led summits.
One focused day on simplifying the stack, introducing AI responsibly, and tying MarTech spend to pipeline and revenue outcomes leadership can see.
Best for: Marketing ops and MarTech leaders, plus CMOs who want stack decisions grounded in revenue.
Brand, Paid Media, Social, and Events Conferences
Advertising Week (Europe and New York)
Last editions: New York, October 5–8, 2026, The Penn District, which added Gaming, Healthcare, and B2B summits; Europe, March 24–26, 2026, 180 Studios, London.
Next edition: Europe, March 22–24, 2027, 180 Studios, London (confirmed). New York 2027 not yet dated.
The full spectrum of advertising: creative, media buying, brand strategy, measurement, and CTV. Recent editions kept returning to clarity, trust, and consistent brand foundations as attention gets harder to earn. Broad, but useful for connecting brand investment to demand gen.
Best for: CMOs balancing brand and performance, brand and creative leaders.
d3con
Last edition: March 2026, Hamburg.
Next edition: March 16–17, 2027, CinemaxX Dammtor, Hamburg (per event listings).
A focused look at where digital advertising goes next: AI creative, privacy-compliant targeting, and cross-channel attribution, with a GDPR-first lens.
Best for: Performance and paid media leaders, especially those spending in Europe.
ADWorld Experience
Last edition: October 15–16, 2026, Zanhotel Europa, Bologna, with live streaming. Day one ran advanced seminars plus live clinics on attendees’ own Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts; day two covered 24 real PPC and CRO cases, including LinkedIn and TikTok. New: small-group focus groups capped at 12 people.
Next edition: 2027 dates not yet announced (it has run in mid-October).
Every session is a practitioner case study, including what failed. A strong European PPC community.
Best for: PPC managers and leaders who own paid media budgets.
Social Media Marketing World
Last edition: April 28–30, 2026, San Diego Convention Center.
Next edition: April 1–3, 2027, Anaheim, CA (confirmed). New venue, with AI Business World running as two full days inside the event.
Despite the name, the LinkedIn content alone makes it worthwhile for B2B: algorithm shifts, social selling without being salesy, B2B video, and employee advocacy. Recent editions doubled down on human connection, because recognizable points of view gain value as generic content floods feeds.
Best for: Social and content leads, CMOs whose pipeline runs through LinkedIn.
Meltwater Summit
Last edition: May 5–6, 2026, New York.
Next edition: 2027 dates not yet announced; Meltwater’s waitlist with early pricing is open.
Social listening, sentiment, crisis readiness, and creator programs, with recent sessions pairing AI adoption with trust and authenticity.
Best for: Brand, PR, and social leaders responsible for reputation.
Experiential Marketing Summit
Last edition: May 18–20, 2026, MGM Grand, Las Vegas.
Next edition: April 27–29, 2027, Las Vegas (confirmed by Event Marketer).
Events, sponsorships, trade shows, and immersive experiences. The consistent message: use AI to remove ops busywork, but the experiences people remember still depend on human interaction and relevance, not spectacle.
Best for: Event and field marketers, trade show teams.
Tech Ecosystem and Founder Events
NY Tech Week
Last edition: June 1–7, 2026, citywide, presented by a16z.
Next edition: 2027 dates not yet announced (it has run in the first week of June).
Less a conference than a week of founder- and operator-led sessions across the city. It’s the best place to hear how AI companies are actually going to market, without a vendor filter.
42DM take: Kate spoke on GTM readiness for AI products and co-hosted a workshop on scaling with people and AI. The sequence we shared: relevance, then trust, then visibility, then pipeline. Scaling paid or SEO before the proof layer exists just creates expensive leakage. Read the full lessons and the readiness checklist in What’s the Right GTM Strategy for B2B AI Companies? Lessons from NY Tech Week.
Best for: Founders, GTM leaders, and marketers at AI and venture-backed companies.
Web Summit
Last edition: November 2025, Lisbon, a record year with 71,386 attendees from 157 countries.
Next editions: Lisbon, November 9–12, 2026, MEO Arena and FIL (confirmed); Web Summit Qatar, January 31–February 3, 2027, Doha; Web Summit Vancouver, May 25–28, 2027, Vancouver Convention Centre.
One of the world’s largest tech conferences: founders, Fortune 500 executives, investors, and global tech press across 20 content tracks, including an AI track. It isn’t a marketing event, and its scale means you need a plan. Book meetings in advance and treat it as a market-intelligence, partnership, and PR trip rather than a learning one.
Best for: CMOs and founders at tech companies who want investor, partner, and press access, especially those expanding into Europe.
TechCrunch Disrupt
Last edition: October 13–15, 2026, Moscone West, San Francisco, with 10,000+ attendees, 250+ speakers, and Startup Battlefield 200 competing for a $100,000 prize.
Next edition: 2027 dates not yet announced.
Startups, founders, and investors, plus Startup Battlefield. For marketers, it’s competitive intelligence and partnership scouting more than marketing education.
Best for: Marketers and CMOs at venture-backed startups, PMMs watching the landscape.
CES
Last edition: January 6–9, 2026, Las Vegas, with 148,000+ attendees and 4,100+ exhibitors.
Next edition: January 6–9, 2027, Las Vegas Convention Center and other Las Vegas venues.
Consumer tech, but B2B teams use it for market intelligence: consumer behavior that shapes enterprise expectations 12 to 18 months later, plus a huge pool of enterprise buyers and the Eureka Park startup zone.
42DM take: CES only pays off with a specific objective, such as competitive intelligence or partnership discovery. Go with a plan, not to browse.
Best for: CMOs planning next year’s strategy, PMMs in health, sustainability, and enterprise tech.
Product Marketing Summit series (Product Marketing Alliance)
Last edition: March 2026, New York.
Next editions: Boston, October 27–28, 2026 (co-located with MarTech Summit Boston); London, December 2–3, 2026, InterContinental London – The O2; Washington DC, January 28, 2027; Austin, February 24–25, 2027; New York, March 18–19, 2027, Convene 360 Madison; Denver, April 7–8, 2027 (all confirmed by Product Marketing Alliance).
Positioning in crowded markets, sales enablement, competitive intelligence, and proving PMM’s revenue impact. Recent editions leaned into using AI for research and messaging while protecting human judgment.
Best for: PMMs, founders wearing the PMM hat, leaders building PMM teams.
Director-plus option: PMM Leaders Summit. A one-day, discussion-driven series for director-level and above PMMs, positioned as vendor-free so the room stays peer to peer. Last edition: London, September 2, 2026. Next: Silicon Valley (San Jose), April 14, 2027, and New York, June 4, 2027, The Westin New York at Times Square (both confirmed).
Developer Marketing Summit
Last edition: September 9, 2026, Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport, Burlingame, co-located with the Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, and AI for Marketers summits. Speakers included developer relations and technical product marketing leaders from PayPal, Meta, JFrog, Twilio, and Intuit.
Next edition: 2027 dates not yet announced (it has run in early-to-mid September near SFO).

Best for: Marketing, PMM, and DevRel leaders at AI infrastructure, developer-tool, and API-first companies.
Regional Conferences: Europe and APAC

Next edition: May 5–6, 2027, ExCeL London (per event listings).
Global audience, AI in marketing, B2B journey mapping, and cross-channel attribution, with a recurring warning about AI making communication interchangeable.
Best for: Digital marketing directors and CMOs at mid-sized companies.
State of Social

Best for: Marketing leaders at fintechs, payment platforms, and SaaS serving financial services.
How to Choose the Right Marketing Conferences for Your Team
Start with your biggest bottleneck, then match the room to it. Two or three well-chosen events beat a calendar full of half-attended ones.
| If your bottleneck is… | Shortlist |
|---|---|
| ABM and demand gen | B2BMX, Forrester B2B Summit, LeadsCon |
| Showing up in AI answers | brightonSEO, MozCon London, UNBOUND |
| Rolling out AI across marketing | MAICON, ANA AI for Marketers |
| Content that drives pipeline | Content Marketing World, UNBOUND |
| Paid media efficiency | ADWorld Experience, d3con, LeadsCon |
| Enterprise MarTech | Adobe Summit, MarTech Summit Berlin |
| Senior strategy and peer benchmarks | Forrester B2B Summit, ANA Masters of B2B |
| AI-company GTM and founder networks | NY Tech Week, TechCrunch Disrupt |
| Expanding into Europe | DMEXCO, OMR Festival, Digital Marketing World Forum |
Not sure whether your diagnosis is right? The quickest gut check is whether your problem is visibility, trust, or conversion. Our GTM Benchmark Report shows which of those three layers moves revenue at your stage, which tells you which conference tracks to prioritize.
If you’d rather pressure-test it with someone, our GTM Review benchmarks your marketing against your competitors and shows which gaps to close first.
Match the level to the person you’re sending.
- Newer marketers: UNBOUND, Social Media Marketing World (broad, foundational)
- Mid-level practitioners: B2BMX, MarTech Summit, DigiMarCon (tactical)
- Senior leaders: Forrester B2B Summit, ANA Masters of B2B (strategic, research-backed)
Pick the size that fits your goal.
- Under 500 attendees: deep conversations and real relationships
- 500 to 2,000: a good balance of intimacy and breadth
- 2,000+: big networking pools and keynote energy, but easy to get lost
Vet the agenda before you buy. Practitioner speakers sharing real numbers are the best signal of value; vendor-heavy agendas usually mean product pitches. Watch a couple of last year’s recordings to judge depth.

Budget Planning for Marketing Conferences
The ticket is usually less than half the real cost. Plan per person:
| Cost item | Typical range (USD) |
|---|---|
| Registration | $500–$3,000 |
| Flights | $300–$800 |
| Hotel | $150–$300 per night |
| Meals | $50–$100 per day |
| Total per person | $1,500–$5,000+ |
Ways to spend less:
- Register early. Early-bird pricing usually saves 20–40%, often 2–6 months out. Set a calendar reminder when this year’s edition ends, because next year’s early-bird typically opens soon after.
- Go as a group. Teams of 3+ often get 10–15% off.
- Buy virtual. Hybrid events (UNBOUND, Forrester, ANA AI) sell online access at roughly 50–70% less. You keep the content and lose the hallway.
- Speak or volunteer. Speakers are usually comped; some events discount volunteers.
- Use memberships. Associations like the ANA negotiate member rates.
Making the case to your CFO: frame value as skills (vs. the cost of equivalent training), pipeline and partnerships, competitive intelligence, and retention. Then track it, so next year’s request is backed by results.
What to Do Before, During, and After a Conference
Before
- Set one measurable goal: “meet five demand gen leaders at Series B–C SaaS” beats “network.”
- Book meetings two to three weeks out, before calendars fill.
- Pick sessions strategically and leave gaps; the hallway is half the value.
- Know your own numbers. If AI search is on the agenda, run a quick check on whether ChatGPT and Perplexity recommend you, so every AEO session maps to a real gap.
During
- Take notes as action items, not transcripts.
- Ask about their biggest challenge before you pitch anything.
- Prioritize dinners and side events; that’s where relationships start.
- Post one or two real takeaways on LinkedIn and tag speakers.
After
- Follow up within 48–72 hours, referencing the specific conversation.
- Share a one-page recap with your team.
- Implement one idea, not ten.
- Log which event produced pipeline, partnerships, or insight, so next year’s budget follows the evidence.
Events work best once your positioning and proof are ready to convert the attention they create. Our GTM lessons from NY Tech Week include a readiness checklist to run before you scale events or any other channel.
FAQ
Final Thoughts: Plan Your 2027 Conference Strategy
The best conference strategy is a short one: pick two to four events that match your real bottleneck, prepare with your own data, engage fully, and follow up fast. The rooms worth being in all ask the same question now: when buyers research through AI and peers before they ever talk to you, what makes them trust you enough to shortlist you? Visibility brings the volume. Trust converts it.
Your Fast-Track to B2B Growth
Conferences show you what’s working across the market. The hard part is knowing which of those plays fit your stage. 42DM is the B2B growth agency for tech companies that closes that gap: we find what amplifies your pipeline, prove it fast, and scale it. Discover. Validate. Compound.
Since 2016, our crew of curious, humble overachievers has delivered 250+ B2B projects in 52 countries for companies like Payoneer, Roland Berger, and Lumin. An in-house MarTech team and our HubSpot partnership build the engine underneath, so you keep the system that got you there. You drive. We run the engine.
Depending on where you’re stuck, that might start with GTM strategy, demand generation and ABM, AI search optimization, MarTech and HubSpot, or a fractional CMO who owns the plan with you.
Want to know which plays fit your stage before your next event? Start with our GTM Benchmark Report: across 100 B2B AI companies, younger companies won with founder visibility and paid distribution, while mature ones won with search authority.
